I was fifteen when I first encountered Ithaca Farmers Market, under the mentorship of my future mother-in-law, where I sold her baked goods. Nearly a half century later, I’m still captivated by yummy baked goods that customers often double back in order to get a second helping.
I created Bluebird Bakery seventeen years ago to pursue my dream of running my own one woman show. I enjoy testing and refining promising recipes, and more recently branching out to also make terrific gluten-free and vegan baked treats.
I love standing behind my booth at Ithaca Farmers Market every week, greeting regular customers who’ve come to pick up their favorite scone, and introducing new market visitors to my products. I take great pride in offering baked goods in which I know every ingredient down to the last crumb.
I’m proud to call myself an Ithaca Farmers Market baker.
